We have a 30-minute conversation to check if we fit. You tell me your problem, objectives, timeline, budget. I tell you if I can help.

Within days, I’ll send you a short proposal outlining:

• Our expectations of each other
• Project scope and what I’ll deliver
• Possible start date and timeline
• Cost estimate

I won’t write a word until I’ve understood your business, competitors, positioning, services, and customers.

I’ll comb through your website, reports, videos, media coverage and anything else that illustrates your offer and value.

If possible, I’ll talk to your customers, members, public-facing people, and leadership.

I use my findings to develop your draft copy.

If it’s a web page, I might include low-fi mock-ups plus layout and design suggestions.

We talk it over and go through revisions until everyone’s happy.

The big picture goal is lasting, trust-based client relationships.

It’s wise to have a writer in your corner who can keep turning out great content.

The more engagement you get, the better for all of us.
